The WebTV Rabbit

This page is devoted to Honey Bunny, the semi-official rabbit of WebTV Networks, Inc.
Our beloved pseudo-mascot was born late in 1996, and was soon in the care of Sandra Bernardi. Honey lived at home with Sandra for a short while, then took up semi-permanent residence on the WebTV campus. She currently resides in Sandra's cube in the Mountain View office.
Honey arrived a few weeks after the passing on of Bowser, the original WebTV rabbit. Bowser lived with Phil Goldman for many years, and was the official rabbit of General Magic before moving to WebTV.
All pictures were taken with an Olympus D400-Z digital camera. Curiously, the software "red eye removal" filter works fine for humans but poorly for rabbits, so she looks like a furry demon in some of the shots.
[ Mid-2001 update: ] Honey Bunny retired from WebTV, and shareed a room in Sandra's house with another bunny named Rorschach (after the ink blots). Honey died from natural causes on October 2nd, 2001.
